Hey There! Hartman Arena here! Well, I guess I'm not here yet, but I'm coming April 09, and I'm bringing with me a ton of big events. I can handle up to 6,700 seats for concerts and 5,000 for sporting events and family shows. I'm excited because the Wichita Metro Area hasn't had a venue my size in the market before, and I think I'm going to fit in perfectly. Here are a few things about me. I'm a big fan of parking, so I have 15 acres on-site so all my friends aren't trudging long distances through the elements. I'm a green building. Not only is it the right thing to do, but it's cost effective on the back end for both my builders and operators. Green initiatives include a strong recycling program, energy efficient lighting, efforts to acquire wind power, and a ton more. As a matter of fact, I combined my two favorite things and will be offering free V.I.P. parking for hybrids and carpoolers (4 or more passengers). I'm also really into customer service, so if you visit next year and see something you like, or something that needs to be improved, please let me know. I'm here to make friends and keep them, so I'd really like to meet you! THE BLACK COLLAR AFFAIR: A BENEFIT FOR THE HUMANE SOCIETY
We are having a cocktail party at The Shadow that will benefit the Kansas Humane Society. There will be a $5 cover, all of which will be donated to the Humane Society (or you can donate more!). The dress code will be cocktail attire, so ladies find a cute dress and gentlemen no shorts or jeans, please. Think nice dress pants and dress shirt, or if you want to go all out, break out a suit!
Feel free to bring your friends and family, but make sure you let them know they must be in cocktail attire. Drink specials will include $3 vodka drinks, $5 Vodka Redbulls, and $5 Jager Bombs.
Wichitanightlife.com will be there taking photos of the event and posting them to their website. It's going to be a great night, for a great cause and we'd love to see you there!
